Expect More From 2012


2011 is almost over.

Did you achieve what you set out to achieve in January this year?

Do you even remember what your goals were?

If you are like many people, life would have got in your road around February and after that you would have spent the rest of the year achieving everyone else’s goals and expectations – your organisation’s, your manager’s, your parent’s or your family’s. Maybe you spent the year trying to keep up with the goals your friends set, using their measure of success as your own.

Or did you sabotage your own success by procrastinating?

Maybe you let your limiting beliefs keep you small and get in the way of you expanding your talents and abilities?

Did you allow yourself to become overwhelmed (by saying “Yes” to everyone else) and then not have time to do what was important for you?

This is a good time of the year to reassess what got in the way of your success in 2011 and plan to  Expect More From 2012.

What might have happened if you had been absolutely committed to your goals in 2011?

What if you had put first what was important to you?

You could be in an extraordinary place now!

My challenging motivation for you today is to Expect More From 2012. Set your expectations high. Set goals that have a compelling reason underpinning them. Make a commitment to stay with them – not matter what.
